More Q&A with WordPlay T. Jay

Every few weeks, WordPlay T. Jay takes some time to help people on his YouTube channel and answer their questions in the comments, and this is another one of those weeks!

Q: Vanessa Lech asked: “I am unable to locate the knowledge account manager shown in the 11:26 mark of your video. Please advise. Thank you so much! :)”

A: It's best to use a Chrome browser or be logged into Google or Gmail. Claim your panel and once you're approved then you can utilize it. Some accounts won't have permissions

Vanessa: Yep, so there appears to be no way to edit my "knowledge panel". My "knowledge panel" isn't that knowledgeable.

T. Jay: it takes time. How much traffic do you get to your pages across the internet? Social Media? YouTube? Your website? Do you have a musicbrainz account?

Vanessa: I'm not a musician. This isn't new. Bottom line, I'm not a fan of Google "knowledge" panels as it pertains to my own.

Q: WVX asked: “How we can type the label and birthday?”

A: You cannot. GKPs are built on internet metadata. You supply the information on some website like your website, social media, youtube, or etc...and then Google will verify that information based on how people search for you and how accurate that information is to their search. So put your info on other pages, and get people to search for you on those pages.

Q: Jonreys asked: “hello friend greetings from Ecuador a question in my knowledge panel to publish photos, survey, songs and among others. Until when is it available to share what is named. How long does that accessibility last?”

A: Some features may not be available to all people. Some of those features are in beta for select users. Keep building up your traffic and you may get the ability to share content via your knowledge panel.

Q: GiwHa asked: “Great video but I have a couple of questions, why not turn on campaign budget optimisation for this? and Why only instagram? Thanks”

A: Instagram just responds better for the campaign. If you're targeting only the United States its okay to use multiple placements but don't expect your streams to jump that much. People are just used to ads now on Facebook and they ignore them more than Instagram stories. Campaign Budget optimization are for pretty large budgets and multiple ad sets. If that's your situation, use it, but beware if your cost per click is high it may slow your results. Turn it on AFTER your ad set has had about a week to test.
