The Road to Terry - 053 - Getting Back to It

I did a Google search for “Get back on the horse”. It is an idiom. An idiom is a word or phrase that has figurative meaning that is not easily understood literally. That segment is from a longer phrase that goes “get back on the horse that bucked you or get back on the horse that threw you”.

The horse that threw me was the pandemic. I haven’t performed since December of 2019. That performance was super fun and engaging. Since the restrictions have loosened, I have been to two live performances. I saw my friend Kevin Shintaku (listen here) and my other friend Thomas (Coup ContreCoup). Those performances were great to witness and they made me hungry to get back on stage. Today, I’m going to book some shows and get back on the horse.
