I was thinking about learning remotely. Didn't we learn remotely when we watched Bob Ross, Mr. Rogers, Bill Nye, School House, & all the other things we consumed via screens?
That makes me think...it's not the delivery system. It's the content. It's trying trying to shove the volume of information and the density of information into a very narrow pipe. Like wheat bread through a water hose.
Maybe we have to teach with the same lightness and playfulness that others taught us.
Speaking of learning this way. In Washington state, myself and others are petitioning to Governor Jay Inslee to make some adjustments to the vaccine schedule for teachers and students. He would like for us to return to school without that protection offered to everyone.
